Okay, creating items in mass production can sometimes become a little stale. Making the same thing over and over again can lead to some serious mental fatigue.
So how do I challenge myself? It has to be something that has a deadline. Something that has a finishing point. Something that will help me develop new skills and push me forward.
Thus, the Pokemon hats challenge is born!
At ANIME ST.LOUIS this year I will be raffling off ALL Gen 1 as hats! Plus a few others.... Anyway, all money goes to charity.
I know that there are a lot of people who create Pokemon hats as well, but I always wondered which Pokémon really is the most popular? I've seen a lot of people go crazy for specific types like ghosts, bug, or fire types. And then I hear them complaining about how there is so little merchandise for their favorite character. I'm hoping to be really surprised at the results. And help some to get their not-so-easy-to-acquire favorite.
There are so many different colors, shapes, and touches to be done. I am truly going to try and create them in my own style, while remaining true to the theme. But I am well on my way!!!
Wish me luck!!!!

I know a ton of great local artists in St. Louis, but they do not get the chance to travel to conventions like I do. So I wanted to take their comics and items to sell for them at the cons. BUT, convention in the artist alley are very strict about artist being present to sell their own work. It is  good way to keep artists from ripping eachother off.
So I asked to turn our club into a publishing group! As a representative I could sell their amazing work and they do not have to worry about the headache, backache, stromachache, and stress of con travel. Thus, C4 comics is born!!
Each artist will draw their own logo in the center of the main logo to show both indiviualism and solidarity!!!
Look for C4 Comics at anime, horror and comic book conventions this next year!!

Earlier this year I found a trade of Marvel Romance. After reading it, mocking it, and noting every girl cried (even on the cover) I realized I couldn't put it down. Well condenced stories written by the top artists and writted of the time, Stan lee, Kirby, and many others, I wanted to revive this style of comics for girls anthologies. After attending Contamintion-Con, my locla horro convention I got my inspereation! Feel free to read and comment as I post stories, pin-ups and fun extras of my comic.
